Welcome to the homepage of the never-ending story that is the BR Set for Transport Tycoon Deluxe. This was one of the first suggested sets upon the introduction of the possibility of adding new graphics. However, other sets that also began around that time have long since been completed. In-fighting, disagreements, apathy and work have all got in the way of this set being completed. Which is a great shame really, since there is no tribute to the many regional companies and services that Great Britain has. Thus, there will be a spirited effort to finally complete what has been the longest running saga in TT-Forums history. Click on the links on the left for the relevant information.

Let me give you a brief background about this project:
Transport Tycoon Deluxe is a strategy game which involves taking control of a transport company and building a transport empire. It was developed by Chris Sawyer and published by Microprose in 1995. It would appear that both have no interest in the game anymore (despite Sawyer's recent mobile game based on TTD), and as such has quite a few bugs and limited gameplay.

This is where Josef Drexler comes in. He created a patch that would correct some of the bugs and improve the gameplay. However, thanks to much dedication and help from several other proficient coders, it's become far more than just a patch - in essence it's become it's own game.

This project takes advantage of the patch's new graphics modification, which, among other things, allows new train locomotives and wagons. This set is solely for the enjoyment of it's developers and anyone that plays Transport Tycoon Deluxe, thus it is not a commercial product.
